Those kinds of filters always clog up pretty fast and you spend all your time cleaning them. I just bought a new pre-filter for my pump and it's working great except I had to clean all the gunk off the bottom of my pond so it would be able to keep up w/ it now. Lesson to me, clean pond bottom before each winter from now on.
You have lots of nice looking fish Alidandi :)

Hi Alidandi. Welcome to GPF. My pond is slightly bigger than yours and I wouldn't even consider having koi. You may make it through the first year okay but it will be an extreme uphill battle to keep your water healthy for your fish for future years. If you want to keep those beautiful Koi I would consider planning at least a 1500-2000 gallon pond for your fish.
