New creature at my pond

What a find this morning. I seen a Spotted Salamander in my planting area of the pond. This is the first one I have ever seen in my yard. A bit later it was gone. It was good size about 4" body with a 5" tail.

Nice! Wish we had salamanders here. I have to travel to different parts of the state to find them.

Nice shot of the sally! I see them here along side the road now and then while walking and have to remove them and put them in a safer spot.
