Howdy,

I bought this pitcher plant a few months ago and it’s been doing great. I’m in Houston Tx and it’s reached well over 100F for at least a month. The plant didn’t seem to mind it.

I’ve had a major leaking issue with this pond recently. It required me to empty it completely to plug the hole. While I was at it I cleaned out a good amount of muck that had accumulated over a year.

I saved a 5gal bucket of the original pond water, filled the rest with tap, used an auquascape all in one pump (same I’ve used all year).

I’m not sure if it was deteriorating before the cleaning or after, but all the other pond plants are doing fine-ish (it’s still nearly 100F everyday). Is it odd that all the sudden after over a month of heat it just now decides it doesn’t like it? Or could there be something more going on?
