That is one reason I built near my septic tank it warms the ground and then warms the pond .

Thursday we got everything set up in the pond for winter. The de-icer and Pond Breather are in place, but not yet plugged in - will do that closer to the cold weather of winter. I plugged in my Pond Breather to make sure it works and it looked great!

I still wish I had a cover for my pond, mainly so I could look at them....but hubby says, not happening...at least this year!! I feel sad to put the pond to bed for the winter....wish we had a longer season.
