Hi All,
I’m having an algae problem this year.
2000 gallons,5,500 GPH pump 3 koi, 4 large lily plants and 10 floating water hyacinth. Pond has been established for three years
API test kit
pH- 7.4
Ammonia- 0ppm
Plants look great, best blooms ever. Pond gets afternoon sun but right now I have a canopy over it. I’ve done weekly water changes (20% ) and I did a 50% water change last week. I have not feed the fish in a month, just allowing them to eat the plants. Big change for this year is we had a drought situation for three weeks and vernal ponds dried up early. I have 50+
Green frogs living in the pond. What can I do? Thanks!
