I've read that you should pinch off the flower bud on those because it will put all it's energy into the flower bud and weaken the rhizome structure of the plant.

Good to know, I've been diligently removing the blackened and spent traps, but wanted to see what the bloom would look like. I'm not sure it'll survive the winter, I'm in zone 8 I think...

Very nice, I had a few, they died over winter (mild winter here)

You can also see in the trap on the bottom left that's closed, it caught itself a large daddy-long-legs spider (I think)... lot's a legs sticking out of it... :)
