On a drive today, saw a road called fish hatchery road, so we drove down it, just to explore, found a fish farm. The people have been running it for 30 years. A lot of beautiful koi and my favorite shubunkins.

Well for 4 dollars a piece, approx 6-8 inches long, beautiful shubunkins, so bought a few, well 12.
Here they are in a lowes blue bucket.

YEP! sometimes we do, it is a pretty day, flowers starting to bloom, trees green up type drive. That is what we did this am. And ended up at the hatchery. Beautiful day and beautiful fish.

Wow, those are beauties. I love the "blue" look of that type of Shubunkin. My favorite fish is a shubie that looks just like your new ones, and I got it from Pond Kid 3 years ago. Congrats on your great purchase.

Those are beauties!! I really love the Shubies. In fact, my only non-koi is a big (really big) Shubunkin named Clive. Nice score!
