I've just finished building my swimmable pond (about 17,000 gal.) But I'm exhausted, and I don't want to install the Aquascape waterfalls. But because I want the filtration immediately, I wonder if it's a good idea to set the waterfall units inside the pond on a shelf. That way, they will be filtering the water immediately, and I can dig the holes and set them in their permanent places later.
Acceptable?

Any chance you’d consider hiring someone else to do the waterfalls…? I get that you want to build it, but the “I’m exhausted” hit home for me. I’ve had to learn to know my limits and not rob myself of the enjoyment in a project.

Thanks for theadvice, but as long as I can get the waterfalls hooked up (already half done), I can wait until I have time.
