Hi there,
Well, we have finally had a warm day in not so sunny England today. This morning my pond was at 6 degrees C, but with the warm day, the pond temperature had increased to 11 degrees C. As you'd expect, the increase in water temperature meant my fish were all becoming rather active today, which was brilliant and rewarding. This evening, with the water still over 10 degrees, I decided to try a little wheatgerm feed to see how they reacted. I wasn't sure what to expect, considering I have just put 8 new fish in 5 days ago, which I expect did cause some stress to my stock.
Below are the results! Apologies that the pictures aren't great, the pond is still very coloured after winter but I have my 22,000 litre filters running and my UVC burning so hopefully this will resolve soon
Regards,
Ed
