Frog attacks bird but misses

I caught a frog attack on camera. Sorry for the poor light. Luckily it missed the bird

I'm so glad the bird escaped but boy were those good fun shots to see of that frog launching and diving back down. Love his form...............he wins the gold

Oh my gosh.....the best part of that picture sequence was seeing his frogs legs diving back to the stream.....birdless. I really had no idea they'd go to such lengths to eat birds....thought they'd go for smaller stuff, like bugs.

Ok its definately Time to move this freeloader on RobAmy cant have it eating things bigger than it , as it may start snacking on your fish next

Maggie I think he must have been chatting with one of those flying fish on his travels and got the idea from him arf, arf

Great pics! Last year we found one of our green frogs with a bird in his mouth. Eventually he gave up because it was too big to eat, but he had it in his mouth a long time.
