Green water - I can't get rid of it!

I have a 3500 gallon pond with maybe 18 koi. The water has been green for over a year, I went through all of the "just add to the water and it will clear up products" none of which worked. Than I went to the bacteria in your pond isn't enough and that didn't work. Both of these cures were really expensive but a waste of time and money. Have you tested the water lately? If so, what were the numerical results. If not, the water needs to be tested before any real solution can be offered.
Sorry to here that you are not ambulatory. Do you have anyone that helps you?
