have you pet your fish today?

nothing more fun with fish then to put your hand in there and have the brush up against it. I am hoping without the koi the gf will still do it.

I have not pet my fish yet, but they do like to suck on my finger tips.....even the goldfish do it:goldfish:

I try but, it doesn't work out too well. Maybe once or twice.

I think they have to get used to it too. like do it after or before feeding. a few times a day if you can. I hope once I remove the koi the gf will continue to come up for attention.

When I groom the lilies, i.e. walk in the pond, the fish swim around my legs nibbling.

If I hang over the water fall to take pictures, (where they get fed) they come and nibble on my fingers.

Just gf and shubies, so yep they can be touched, feel them nibble on fingers, prob even eat out of my hand if I get around to trying that.

Is it true that if you have orf in the pond with your koi you can never get koi to eat out of your hand or make them tame. My fish wont come near me?

my first pond had orfies and koi and the koi were really tame.
