That was me when one of the koi died a couple weeks ago--I was actually kind of upset on my way to work. Though obviously he wasn't flush-able...

that's sad and adorable at the same time.

I've never flush my fish (even when I was little) I put them in the ground next to a fruit tree (Mango tree when I was young). Even now, my guppies or goldfish went in the ground next to my fig trees.
