So I've recently upgraded my 3 Bay kockney koi filter to a larger 4 bay .

I'm not sure if it's just been bad timing , my water has always been crystal clear , but in the last week it has murked up alot more than it has ever in my time having my pond

One thing I have noticed is a lot of jelly like material in the water , I have added alot more fish this year , and someone has said that they may have just spawned ?? Which could have possibly blocked up the filter slightly, as I've noticed the water flow is slower too 🤔

Hello and welcome!

Can you give us more in formation about your pond? Also, pictures would help.
  1. How big is your pond?
  2. how long have you had it?
  3. what kind of fish do you have?
  4. how many fish do you have?

THE jelly is probably eggs , the dead fish could be females that were beat up from spawning, or if you just shut down the three bay filter and just turned open the 4 bay you had no bacteria in the new filter so ammonias could build up
