Greetings all!

My name is Brian and I'm brand new here. I live in Baltimore County, Maryland. My lifelong dream has been to have a pond.

I'm a few years away from being ready to put a "real" one in (first we need to decide and design a new deck for the backyard, then build it) then I will add a pond. In the meantime, I'm going to start the learning process with a 110 gallon stock tank (Rubbermaid).

I look forward to getting to know you and learning as much as I can

Welcome Brian. If you're a few years out from building your pond, you'll probably finish before me. That's an inside joke, so you're not expected to get it yet. But you will.

Welcome! What do you plan to stock the tank with? Just plants, fish, a fountian?

I live near Tampa now, but grew up in Baltimore County (by Loch Raven Res.). It's a great place to have a pond.

Thank you. I’ve actually not been to the reservoir but I live right near it. I just moved here right before Covid so I haven’t done much exploring at all

I know the area well just finished a project down there for a year off Harford rd.

One word of advise its much easier to build the pond first then work the deck . Or what I prefer a concrete paver patio or stone to the pond.
