Hi all, glad to be here. I'm new to ponds, but not to keeping fish. Had a few aquariums back in the day, before missus and kids! But now they are older, I've decided to build a raised pond in my garden. It's made of wood and isn't very big as we don't have a great deal of space left (most of it taken up by a brew shed and a summer house). It's 1.1x0.7x0.7metres (43x27x27 inches) has a UV canister filter and pump, spray bar and oxygenating pump with air bubble curtain.

Hey JRS. No fish yet. Need to get some plants first but need help... Posted a new thread in Aquatic Plants section to see if anyone has any ideas.

Thanks j.w! Was a bit of a nightmare as I originally designed it with a waterfall, which didn't quite work as expected... So a DIY spraybar was the next best thing.
