HELP!! Shubunkin/goldfish/koi fry

3 weeks ago I was attending to some very stubborn blanket weed pulled some out attached to roots and found a large amount of fish eggs couldn’t put them back so decided to see if they would hatch I now have about 30 fry in a tank in my house I have been feeding them brine shrimp and they are looking well but I haven’t got a clue I’ve been on websites that say you have to cull them look for deformations but I’m just unsure any help and advice would be very much appreciated.

I know my fish have had fry before because I have one 2inch brown little dude that I spotted in march time when doing spring maintenance I have 1 koi, 3 Shubunkin, 5 goldfish, so no idea who parents are.

I was thinking about just giving them away but how big do they have to be?

I would wait and see how they turn out w/patterns and colors. You might want to keep some if you have the room. Give the rest away.

Thank you have you any idea how big they would need to get to give them their best chance of survival before giving them away?

I have been feeding them brine shrimp and boiled egg yolk would you recommend anything else?

You could prolly just feed them goldfish flake food. I would wait till they were a couple inches or so before giving them away. By then they should have some color if they are going to get any.

Didn't know if you would be interested or not but the babies are growing very fast not had a casualty yet still have 31 fry

Yep I'm interested to see what they become! Can't tell yet tho.

Yes. I have a small indoor tank of white cloud mountain minnows that I feed flake food. Every once in a while I get a new batch of fry and they do just fine on the flakes.
