HOT hot weather..

I like the screen windows for me it allows me to look in on the brood with out scaring them to much .It is a window into there world and for my benefit too as much as there's .Not saying I'm scary either :razz: :razz: :razz:

I caught a picture of the finches eating the algae in the top stream pond, the two males come every morning.

If you look close you can see the greens in their beaks. They don't like it when the stream is running! I was going to toss the green stuff, but leaving it now so they can eat all they want.

Cool about the algae! We only get goldfinches during the winter, but didn't see a single one last winter

They leave here in the winter. One day you see them, then gone, winter here, same in the spring, they show up and spring is here.
I have tons of flowers they love to eat the seed from, 100's will fly out of the wildflower field if I walk up with my pup.
