I am not new, but have not been on in a really, really, really long time. Have been ponding for 17 years starting with a small deck pond and have graduated to a 6' x 4' about 2 1/5 feet deep, using a skippy filter. I live in a western suburb near the Windy City in IL. I have 1 calico koi, 1 calico butterfly koi that are about 6 years old, and Hopper the frog, 1 beta, 2 cats, 1 dog, husband and 2 kids. It is a jungle out there and a zoo in my house.
My project this year is to make the skippy filter look like a real water fall. Looking for suggestions.
