I have always envisioned the two working together! I am planning a new pond with an intake bay that will draw in leaves and floating debris. The pump will be down in a vault in the intake bay and will pull water into the bay and push it up to the bottom of my wetland filter. From there, it will flow up and over the edge, back into the pond. The intake bay will just be rocks on top of some aqua blocks. The wetland filter will be planted.
