They look like Taro, elephant ears.

Yes -- big elephant ears! They are in the ground, outside the pond. I got the bulbs in a two-pack, from Sam's Club.
They come back every year down here.

Not here, I even tried to save over winter, put them out and..............we had a hard freeze..............dead!
