Bacteria in a bottle. Same bacteria you already have in your pond if on planet earth. These aren't genetically engineered dudes, just good old found everywhere bacteria. Given the right conditions bacteria will multiply very fast, plenty fast to completely fill a system. Dumping more of the same bacteria into an already full system, which they always are, does nothing other than put more waste into the pond. You can also consider what type of bacteria is in the bottle after being in a bottle for how long? Under what conditions?

I have in the past experimented with these types of magics in a bottle and talked with other ponders who have used them. Results are always the same, dumped bottle in and instantly wonder how am I going to know whether it works or not? And the beauty of the marketing hits home. There is no way you can tell any difference. To be sure it won't make your pond completely clean, that's obvious. And they're careful not to say it will. They say lots of great stuff but nothing directly related to it actually doing anything beyond what the bacteria in your pond is already doing.

...one-of-a kind formula for use in a broad spectrum of applications in the agricultural, industrial and waste water treatment fields..
You may notice they say "for use" not "used". Waste water treatment plants do not buy rail road car loads of this stuff at $60/gal or at any price.

If you are really concerned and want more bacteria working harder you can just stir the water getting more O2 to work. Point pump outflow at the bottom or remove crap with filters before it needs to be broken down. You'll grow way more bacteria in the time it takes to get this type of product home from the store.

There is not a single thing in a bottle that will clear a pond or eat muck. Even if you poured gallons and gallons of sulfuric acid into a dirty pond it wouldn't be clear and muck free. Just isn't any magic. And the stores selling snake oil, well, do you really want to do business with such an outfit?
