John we decided that seeing as the net now 6 years old and was rotten it was time to remove it and leave it off.
Weve had no preditors so they arent a problem and the view you get through a net isnt the same as if you have no net.
Wevce just been unlucky thats all .
The koi will jump for anything that flies over the pond which is ok if its the middle of the [pond not so around the edges .
The plan is to use the bungee straps to create a baffle around the edges so that they cant jump for flies but can at the centre of the pond
