Mosquito dunks. But usually the fish, dragon flies, tads, frogs, brids take care of any mosquito larvae.

Maybe it's just my yard then... there must be some standing water somewhere. I see frogs every once and a while, also lots of dragonflies. Hate mosquitos!

Take a walk around, with all this rain we have had, a lid, a forgotten pot, tire, anything that can hold water will breed a poop load of mosquitos.
It also could be from a neighbors yard, if you are close to someone. I read, if remembering right, they usually have a 100 foot radius from where they breed.
