THREE MONTHS AGO I HAD SOME LARGE GOLDFISH I TOOK FROM A VACATED POND
I PUT THIS FISH IN A 130 GAL GALVANIZED STOCK TANK.I SET UP A FILTER AND ALL SEEM FINE
AFTER A FEW WEEKS SOME STARTED PEELING SKIN LIKE JUST FALLING OFF.A FEW DIED I
REMOVED THE OTHERS TO ANOTHER HOLDING TANK.I STARTED TO PUT THEM BACK IN THE
GALVANIZED TANK THEY WERE FINE.FEW WEEKS LATER SAME THING THE ONES I PUT IN MY
ACTUAL POND ALL ARE FINE WITH MY OTHER FISH WHICH I HAVE HAD FOR A YEAR OR SO.IM
NOT SURE IF THE GALVANIZED TANK CAUSED THE FISH TO DIE OR NOT.ANY IDEAS ON WHAT WOULD
CAUSE THE SKIN TO COME OFF.

Sounds like the tank may have been coated with something that is drastically changing some type of water quality. First guess sound like a major ph swing but it could be a metal leeching that is causing the problem. Best bet is discontinue use of it as a fish pond. It probablt won't effect plants the same way.
