I have been trying to post pics to the photo section for the last 2 days. I keep geting a 500 error, internal server error. Is this a problem on your end or mine? Don't know too much about computers but I did see where someone else was having problems posting pics. Thanks-

I have gotten that in the past mrsclem, after a day or more it just went away. I even asked Ian what the problem was, but then it stopped. Has happened a few times.

Thanks for letting me know about this :)

Was it when you tried to attach an image to a post, or was it when you used the Gallery section? If you have the URL of the page you're trying to upload an image and I should be able to check the logs.

I'm looking in to this now :D

edit: I can't seem to replicate the problem in either section, so if you can give me any more info and I'll see what I can do.

Ian- I tried posting on the Garden pond photography section and after several failures tried on another section. I think the problem may be the photos were taken with a zoom lens and maay be to large to upload. I will try posting a photo I have used before.

I was having some problems also cuz my pictures were too big and so I started putting them on photobucket each time I needed to post one. Now I just figured out that I can change the size of pics that my camera sends to the pc so I can just post them fine now w/o using photobucket............hooray

I am on a couple of different forums and the size of the pics seems to be the problem usually for people. I use googles picasa and resize them there and have had no problems.

if youve got windows and "paint" you can resize pics there as well... i go to pics...right click on the one i want to resize ... click open with...then click paint... then click image on the paint window...click resize and do it!
