Pond to aquarium fish

Can I move a few of my pond fish (comets) to my aquarium which has a few tetras and platies in it it’s a 55 gallon tank just wanted to know is it safe I understand I may have to do more cleaning and water changing.

You can do that if they aren't very big but they will outgrow it eventually and they are much dirtier than the tropical's like you said. Not sure if they will bother the smaller fish or not as I've never tried that. They will uproot stuff if you have plants in there also.
