This is my first year growing lotus and I live in zone 6b. I planted it in a pot in my small pond and it is covered by about 6-10inches of water. Will my lotus survive? From what I’m reading, I should have taken my lotus out of the pond and stored it, so now I’m worried I’ve killed it:(

If the water has frozen solid, yes it is dead. If the tuber freezes it will die.

So it depends on how thick the ice is.
