small stones under the liner

Hello, Im new to this forum and this is my first post,

We just installed a larger pond yesterday. While carrying the extremely heavy 30 x 25 ft liner we must have knocked in a few small pebbles.
During filling the pond, I noticed the bumps and I'm nervous that this will cause an issue. We did use the underlayment and its a 45mil liner.
I have tried to get whatever stones out but of coarse the ones in the middle remain. I can feel them with my finger and they don't seem to be sharp, they are all just very small round pebbles. Is this an issue? Will I wake up one morning and find that the rocks have punched through the liner? Has anyone every experienced this?

Thanks in advance
Gary

If you get in the pond though I would avoid stepping on them .45 mil liner is pretty thick .
