Start of my raised wooden pond

Hi This is start of my raised pond any tips would be brilliant first time giving this a go will post the progress if people are interested let me no

Yep that's for sure a start. Never built one of those so will leave advice to others that have done so. What are the measurements and what are you putting in there when done?

1200 x 700 just idea i had when sat there then hour later i have started. Just going to get a few little ones nothing extreme.

No pressure treated lumber? By the time your pond gets balanced you'll start having rot issues

No i just used what i had laying around once i finish all the frame before i board the inside and do the outside i will treat it with some wood treatment

Little bit of progress. Just need to treat it all now before doing the out side hopefully line it next week and start filling it.

i would get a pump garden sprayer of some kind and with a wood preservative spray spray spray your untreaded wood it will double it's life

Just done two heavy coats of wood preservative inside and out will put couple more coats on tomorrow before i clad it
