Update for yall Got the waterfall built but I still have more work to do to it. Filled it up and took 6 min to fill the filter with the pump.

I have more filter media im picking up tomarrow

stouty....if your not happy with that outlet setup look at the outlet on my 55 gallon drum filter...its an offset shower drain and will get the water to exit out all the way onto the start of your falls

anyways..things are lookin' good there...you need to trim up the waterfall foam tho!

i have a 3" shower drain in their now. Its backwards from ur tho i did it that way b/c i wanted to secure the liner i cut a hole in the liner and put the shower drain through the hole and siliconed it.

you used a different type tho... mine has a lip over 1/2 wide so it seals real good. reduces from 3" to 2" for plumbing. and sets out from barrel almost 4".... but, if it works dont fix it. good luck with the rest of the build!!

Cut the hole, used the cut out to make compression strips, attached the liner with bolts thru the compression strips --- cost of actual weir; the price of the bolts.
Still need some finish work on the fall. It is a 55 gal drum
