Ultra sieve 111

My sieve is suddenly collecting water in the front side instead of just algae.
It runs all winter and more than the normal amount of algae backed up along with water.
The floating plate seems to be staying lower than normal.
Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Not sure too many in this group use sieve filters, but maybe someone can help. Have you checked with the manufacturer? If you don’t still have the owners manual, you can probably look that up online, as well. Or, are you a retailer?

I have looked up the manual online but didn't see anything that would help with this. I bought a home with this pond and set up

 

[GBBUDD]

Grit from sand could have got in the track. Scratched the plastic or even algae could tighten the space, restricting the operation of the floating gate.
