Water nymph plant

Got an email from ebay with this plant advertised from a seller in Florida. Has anyone ever had this or know anything about it?. It looks like it's an invasive species, free floating. I'm really looking for something that could keep up with large koi.

Addy- you always have the answers! I tried doing a search and came up with so many different plants. Going to risk ordering some of this and see how it does. Bought a pot of water mint and it has taken over.

Another common name for this is "guppy grass." It grows fast. I did not know it could overwinter in zones 3-8 (or at least that's its distribution). You can probably find it for cheap at a pet/aquarium store for under $2-3 per portion.

lol water mint does that. But it is real easy to yank, shallow roots and smells good

Says it's an annual so wonder if it comes back each yr from seed or stems that go dormant in fall/winter?

I'm going to try to winter some over in the bog and bring some in as well.
