water turned tea color?

water has been pretty clear after filling pond about 1 mnth ago ,but we have not had very much rain till today ,had some big downpores and now water is tea color, got some maple trees over pond ,could this be from rain and trees, no leaves in pond and running a uv light, ph holding at 7.5 , will this clear on its own ? or harm fish ? thanks

Tannin in the leaves? Tannin will give the water a tea-like color. Not harmful to fish as far as I know. If it is tannin, I believe the color is fairly persistent.
