Just regular edpm 45 black liner......but it's covered in algae It's like a soft carpet of green moss.

wow! very interesting! I was sure it was like concrete with a artificial moss carpet, so cool looking!

Great job on your roundup
When I had to move the 5 koi to the new pond, I bought a the koi sleeve (or sock) and a huge flat round skimmer net, hubby used the skimmer net to gently guide the fish towards me, I just put the sleeve in front of them and they went right in without freaking out.
My koi sock hold water so I couldn't actually lift it once a koi was in it, but it made transporting the fish to the other pond effortless
