I made the pond edge naked, pulled plants, rocks, moved everything moveable, looks ugly. It is the snakes favorite path. Will rebuild after the snake invasion is over.

What if you threw more of the hornwort you pulled out the other day over the trap and hanging down a bit in front of it.....would it camouflage it a bit?

Yikes! I hope it will end up in one of the traps forthwith, and hopefully before gobbling up your fish!

I had some over it, dried up so now deeper in the water with more hornwort over it, some hyacynth and a bit of anacharis. Two eggs, 4 pretend eggs, some pork and I am going to go get some raw shrimp to put in there.

Not today surgery at 11am............... back to a wrapped arm again, really limits what I can do.
He's HUGE!
I am really hoping it is a he ow if a she they drop babies through Oct.

Good luck with the surgery - maybe the snakes will get tired of getting caught and relocated.
Thanks, brain goofy, sore throat, ow ok, arm wrapped, bit painful. 20220914_183557.jpg

#17 snake went into the minnow trap. It was a bit low in the water, must have shifted. It drowned. Leaving in the trap to see if big boy comes to eat it.
