Amy and I went to New Hampshire for our 25th anniversary. We had our honeymoon there. It has been a bit since we have been there, at least 10-12 years. I was a great time and we even got to see this black bear on the property of the bed and breakfast we stayed at. I nice treat.

Thanks, we went to the Jackson area. The bear was by the cover bridge. We drove the Kancamagus Highway a few times with no luck. We did not see even one moose on this trip.

Unfortunately the moose population in both New Hampshire and Maine have taken a huge hit due to the ticks; they're now starting to call the moose ghost moose because they're rubbing off their brown outer coat leaving the white inner coat. That's a real problem up in the northeast corner with the ticks; the average moose will have between 30000 and 70000 ticks on them and they're literally getting eaten alive. Anyone who questions this look it up yourself. I'd post pictures but they're very depressing.
