But I feel like it may be 2 seasons before I'm ready to introduce fish. Maybe I'm being overly cautious, but I've never even had a decorative pond before. I want to make sure I have a good understanding of the ecosystem first.

Thanks...I sure hope so. This pond is going to be so big, I'm a bit intimidated. But I'm learning from the threads on here, and from some of the research I've done. So I'm getting there! Getting a bit impatient to start this project though, but have always believed everything happens for a reason. So I'm thinking this time line was given to me so I have plenty of time to learn first. Can't wait to share this journey though.
