Any Suggestions

I live on a 1 acre pond and I want to create a walk way 30' long on the right side of my dock. Right now that side of my yard slopes down into the pond. There is a black iron fence about 2' from the water line. I'd like to raise that up and extend 4 feet while still allowing my yard to drain...

post some pics, will give us a better idea of what you are trying to accomplish.
Do you want the walkway inside of the fence? Fence sitting on the backside of the walkway? Do You want the walkway to extend 4’ so it overhangs the pond by 2 Feet?

I would build the walkway like the dock is built. This would allow you to raise it up off the ground just a bit so run off will still go under it into the pond. Can then attach and raise up the fence along the edge of the walkway.
