I am at a resort inHawaii and these two fish are in the pond. Are they Koi?

I had an Oscar in a fish tank, every time I got close to it, t changed color.

I'm semi-tempted to try doing this in my pond! I love oscar, and they can get sooo tame! Not to mention people buy them when they are teeny and cute and don't realise they grow into beasts so there are often large ones going cheap at petshops. They will probably be really good at helping keep goldfish population in check and get on fine with my turtles as they are pretty obnoxious themselves!
