Here's a good way to show the bog, when all the plants are dead! t's six feet by four feet by four feet deep. We went extra deep to accommodate the pump vault - which is empty, but is our clean out should we ever need it. The bottom third is filled with softball sized rocks and then a layer of egg sized rocks and then the gravel top. We didn't use pea gravel - ours is the next size up from actual pea gravel. You can see the top of the pump vault near the right side if you look really close. The water comes in from the left, plumbed to the bottom of the bog, flows up through the gravel and exits to the pond to the right.

Very nice thank you thats a wonderful setup and I love the idea of the pump caught as a clear out can you me ho the water enters the vault?
