Bricks thrown into pond

Hi all, over the weekend a car smashed through my (brick) garden wall sending bricks and mortar into the pond. I've got what I could see out but its cold and deep and I cant reach to the bottom without draining it to see if theres any more. In any event, I am sure small fragments of the cement are still in the pond.
My concern is I've read that cement and mortar is toxic to fish; do you think they will be ok? The wall was about 40 years old, so not new cement.
There are 12 fish in the pond, general goldfish and shubunkins, mostly a year or two old.
Thanks all

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your incident. It is not so much toxic as it can raise the pH of the water. The mortar being so old is in your favor and especially if only small fragments. I think they will be fine.
