I have both, and I agree about the day lilies dropping blossoms in the water. First time it happened, I thought it was a dead fish!!!!

I think the foliage of the iris is nicer and more aquatic-looking.

Addy sent me a batch of tall growing grassy looking stuff that may be flag.
I have a clump of flag in the bog, I do not think I yanked any out for you, but might have. Take good pictures post them I can tell you what is what if you are interested. I know I sent you sweet flag, thinking it was iris, and maybe some iris.

I've come to the realization that when people talk about their winsavia plant or hibiscus, or their watonia or cherub colored shubunkin. I'm all, hey I've got plants and fish. Although I do gesture to indicate which is which....
Winsavia?? I've got to get me some of those!! What are they? o_O
