my damn cell...autocorrection...dwarf cattails....they were in basement nd alrdy grown...then i make a mess to put in the pond...i wish something will grow up from the roots

Mine come up from the roots every year so far. The old cattails are still standing there from last year right now. Haven't noticed any new growth yet.
