Welome- I'm pretty new too. Glad you found and fixed your leak! Do you have a seperate holding tank to put your fish in as you lower the water? It's the only way I can catch mine. I also have a pretty big pond. 15x25 and ony Koi. I used to have goldfish but they multiplied too fast and i had to get rid of them. Emptied the whole thing and had over 100! Ughh!!!

That's the negative to a large pond--catching 'em.

I just boughy a seine net Ebay for this purpose. Yes, it's basically one of those nets that fishermen use to bring in their catch. At least I'll be able to corral them into a small corner of the pond and catch one should I need to.

I tried a seine last year...ugh!! it took 2 of us to do & the fish seem to be much smarter than we think!!! the bottom of the pond isn't level cuz of things in the way &they know how to dodge the net!! I have wayyyy to many gold fish & only 1 koi.I was hoping the koi would eat the babies(aren't I awful???) so far , I don't think so
