I can't find this specific info online......
In an earlier thread y'all brought up that fry needed to have food available all the time (like live foods, BBS). I don't want to jeopardize their health by converting them too soon, sooooo......
Basically, what size (or some other standard) do the babies need to be when you can start converting from "fry" foods (like BBS) to larger foods (flakes)? And when can you start feeding them less frequently?
I have my babies spread over 3 tanks with the teensiest in a 1-1/2 gal.tank (they're still pretty small, less than 1/4" -- all sizes are rough estimates), and the largest are in my 20 gal. These larger babies are about 1/2" long, and growing. I've tried them on crumbled flakes and they will accept them, but still go crazy for the BBS.
