Its approx 3ft deep over half of the pond. We have now put air stones at the shallower end
Thankfully the hot weather has broken and it's much cooler with rain. Fish appear to be doing ok and no further loss

Good to hear! We have brutally hot and humid summers here, and I have found that adding extra water movement can do wonders.

Its unknown to be this hot in UK, around 30 degrees, we are just not used to it
