Just sitting and watching, I've found that my goldfish are full of mischief.
It first came to me when I watched as one of the floating plants just headed out against the prevailing current, seemingly on it's own. When it stopped, I saw an orange flash, then another plant headed over to the previous one. another orange flash, when that plant stopped moving, eventually, th' li'l knothead, had all the plants moved to the other side of the pond.
Then today, I was just sitting and watching a frog, minding his own business, just floating, not bothering anyone. Red snuck up from behind, and poked him in the butt. That poor frog didn't know what had just happened, but he leapt about 6 feet to the edge. I'm thinking that this was done with malice, and forethought.
