Good luck @Big Lou - if you were closer I would happily share! But like @addy1 and @sissy I haven't bought plants online recently. We have some great aquatic plant suppliers close by that we shop on a regular basis. We did buy some snails from the Mega Pond store - they were prompt, good prices, and the snails arrived in good shape, if that helps!

There are a ton of aquatic suppliers out there.

As @addy1 & @sissy mentioned, tricker.com is a good place & carry quality plants. Always do your research first before buying! One person's good results may be another ones nightmare.

Here are a few others besides tricker.com I've used with no issues & have good plants:

http://www.aaapondsupply.com
http://pondkoi.com

It can't hurt to check ebay and craigslist for local sellers. I picked up 15 water hyacinth for less than $2.00 each, including shipping, from a California seller.

This is my first year, but I used pondkoi.com and received a beautiful water lily as well as a couple of bog plants, floating and underwater plants. They arrived in good condition and are all thriving. I also got a water lily from Happy Frog Aquatics within the last couple of weeks and it is big and beautiful already.
