Well I have a small farm here in Northern Idaho, I have five clay ponds on it and I am interested in putting in a couple small 30 ft diameter or so stone and liner ponds next year. I am currently building a stone and liner pond with a neighbor learning a bit more about it all, her pond is 33 foot x 28 foot with a 40 foot stream and water fall. I am here looking to learn more about ponds, I quite enjoy them and wouldn't mind building a few more here on the farm over the years.

My ponds are not really anything special, but they pretty and draw in a great deal of wildlife. I also have catfish in all the ponds.

Pics of my clay ponds

For some pics of the pond I am building for my neighbor...

I love your clay ponds!!! I love the friends pond as well. I like how there are flats, slate? to walk and set stuff on the shelves. The size is great! They will enjoy seeing the fish!!!!

Well winter, or the little tiny bit we had appears to be over...... The wild geese, ducks, woodpeckers, bald eagles and turkeys have all returned.... I can't wait to see baby ducks and geese on the ponds...

I am about to get started on my friends pond again now that the bad weather seems to be past.... The spat of winter filled her pond up, looking pretty cool with all the water in it...

A lot of work yet to do on her pond, but it is going to look cool...

Welcome and yep those sure are big ponds and are you and your neighbor thinking of adding fish and what kind .You will need a filter of some sort .A big stock tank would work and fit in with the country theme .
